Sankar Raman, a Northwest Digital Art Photographer, conceived the idea of collecting stories and photographs of immigrants to document and archive the voices of our nation in 2017. This project, ‘The Immigrant Story is the American Story,’ is an assortment of stories of immigrants and refugees from all walks of life. It is a narrative of their struggles, hopes, fears, and resilience.
